Residential proxies in the United Kingdom
British sites separate UK visitors from the rest of Europe and from the US: prices are in pounds and include VAT, and many international brands run a dedicated UK store.
What people check from UK IPs
- Google results for the UK, which rank local retailers and news sites differently from the US.
- Prices at Amazon UK, Argos, Currys, Tesco and John Lewis.
- Comparison sites for insurance, energy and broadband, where offers depend on the region.
Local notes
Use Accept-Language: en-GB and the London time zone. Many UK sites ask for cookie consent before showing anything; if you collect pages with a plain HTTP client, check that you are saving the content and not the consent banner. Regional differences are smaller than in the US, but Scotland and Northern Ireland do see different delivery terms and some different offers.
Connect
Add this option to the proxy username: -country-GB. The first line below gets a new IP on every request; the second keeps one IP for up to 10 minutes.
