Residential proxies in Germany

Germany is the largest e-commerce market in the EU, and German shoppers rely heavily on price comparison sites, so price and availability data there is checked often and in volume.

What people check from German IPs

  • Prices on Amazon Germany, Otto, MediaMarkt and Zalando, and on the comparison sites Idealo and Geizhals.
  • Google results for Germany, which strongly favor German-language local sites.
  • Ads and landing pages, including the legal notice (Impressum) that German sites must show.

Local notes

Send Accept-Language: de-DE and use the Berlin time zone. Consent banners under GDPR are almost universal, so plan for them in browser automation. Targeting a federal state helps for regional retailers and local search; for national shops the country alone is enough. Collect personal data only with a lawful basis: German regulators enforce the GDPR actively.

Connect

Add this option to the proxy username: -country-DE. The first line below gets a new IP on every request; the second keeps one IP for up to 10 minutes.
