Residential proxies in South Korea
South Korea has one of the most connected populations in the world and its own search leader, Naver, so a Google-only view of Korean search misses most of it.
What people check from Korean IPs
- Naver search, Naver Shopping and Daum results alongside Google.
- Prices on Coupang, Gmarket, 11st and SSG.
- Ads and landing pages for Seoul and Busan, and how a site renders for local users.
Local notes
Send Accept-Language: ko-KR and use the Seoul time zone. Korean services often require phone-based identity checks to sign up or buy, and a proxy does not change that; residential IPs help with public pages, not with account verification. Seoul and its metropolitan area hold about half the population.
Connect
Add this option to the proxy username: -country-KR. The first line below gets a new IP on every request; the second keeps one IP for up to 10 minutes.
