Residential proxies in Russia
Russia is the one large market where Google is not the main search engine: Yandex leads, and its results depend strongly on the user's region, so a Moscow address tells you little about Novosibirsk.
What people check from Russian IPs
- Yandex and Google results by city, for SEO monitoring of regional queries.
- Prices and sellers on Ozon, Wildberries and Yandex Market, where delivery terms and sometimes prices depend on the region.
- Listings on Avito and Cian, and ads in Yandex Direct.
Local notes
The country spans eleven time zones, and both search engines and marketplaces localize by region, so target the city you study rather than the country. Send Accept-Language: ru-RU. Many Russian sites limit access from foreign IPs, which is often the reason to use a Russian residential address in the first place.
Connect
Add this option to the proxy username: -country-RU. The first line below gets a new IP on every request; the second keeps one IP for up to 10 minutes.
