Residential proxies in Canada

Canadian sites are close to American ones but not the same: prices are in Canadian dollars, catalogs are smaller, and many US retailers send Canadian visitors to a separate store.

What people check from Canadian IPs

  • Prices at Amazon Canada, Canadian Tire, Best Buy Canada and Walmart Canada, compared with the US versions.
  • Google results in English and in French: Quebec gets a different mix of sites.
  • Whether a campaign meant for Canada is really shown there and not only south of the border.

Local notes

Canada is bilingual, and sites decide the language from both the IP and the browser. For French content, target Quebec and send Accept-Language: fr-CA; for English, Ontario or British Columbia with en-CA. Provincial sales taxes differ, so a price shown at checkout in Alberta is not the one shown in Nova Scotia.

Connect

Add this option to the proxy username: -country-CA. The first line below gets a new IP on every request; the second keeps one IP for up to 10 minutes.
